چکیده

Sunn pests, which can cause significant yield losses on wheat and barley, are one of the pests whose population levels should be followed. Overwintering areas, have an important place in biology insect, provide advantage development biological or integrated control with entomopathogenic fungi. Entomopathogenic fungi most agents reducing overwintering areas. In this study, Lecanicillium psalliotae (KK8) isolate Akanthomyces muscarium (DIKA11/1) were identified according to morphologic molecular data. Pathogenicity test was carried out DIKA11/1 A. isolate. Adult insects inoculated a 1×107 conidia/ml suspension. With current reported for first time sunn 87.7% mortality rate. The L. species, is pathogen other isolated from Turkey. It thought that used insect commercial formulation studies.

Digestive Proteolytic Activity in the Sunn Pest, Eurygaster integriceps

The Sunn pest, Eurygaster integriceps Puton (Heteroptera: Scutelleridae), is one of the most important pests of wheat and causes considerable damage to this valuable crop annually. Digestive proteinase activity of adult insects was investigated using general and specific substrates and inhibitors. Proteolytic activity was low when the common conventional substrates, azoalbumin, azocasein and he...

Sunn pest is one of the most important cereal pests that affect both grain yield and quality of cerealin Iran. One potential control strategy is to use entomopathogenic fungi such as Beauveriabassiana Vuillemin as mycoinsecticide to control this pest. Naturally infested Sunn pests inKermanshah province were collected and brought to laboratory. 10 isolates were selected forfurther analysis in th...

The effect of triticale α-amylases inhibitors on starch hydrolysis catalyzed by the Sunn pest, Eurygaster integriceps Puton (Hemiptera: Scutelleridae) midgut amylases was examined. Biochemical studgawies showed that inhibitors from Triticale (a hybrid of wheat and rye) had inhibitiory effects on E. integriceps α-amylases. The effects of the triticale α-amylase inhibitor (T-αAI) on α-amylase of ...

The genus Eurygaster Laporte, 1833 includes ten species five of which inhabit the European part of Russia. The harmful species of the genus is E. integriceps. Eurygaster species identification based on the morphological traits is very difficult, while that of the species at the egg or larval stages is extremely difficult or impossible. Eurygaster integriceps, E. maura, and E. testudinaria diffe...
